Two Brothers, One Path by Emily Alexander
About the Book and The Purpose
I've written this book as an offering to God. I am not making any money from this book. All proceeds go to two ministries: K-Love Radio Network and CBN/700 Club
This is the synopsis as seen on the back cover of the book:
How does the way we grow up really affect our lives? This story gives us a chance to see the way two identical brothers are affected by their separate family life. Fate takes them down very different paths-one in a worldly household, the other a Christian household. The effects are not what you would think. Somehow, fate also known as God steers them through their experiences bringing them ultimately to the right path. The straight and narrow. One path that leads us all to our reward in Heaven.

The book
Above is the book cover. As everyone knows a book cannot be judged by the cover, but even so I feel this cover reflects the contents rather well.
What's my stand?
You may be wondering about where I stand and why should you read a book I've written. I glad you ask such questions! My biography page will fill you in on a short glimpse of where I've come from, where I'm at and where I see myself going(though that is really God's deal, right!) Here I'll just answer the above question. I stand for God, the Almighty God of Heaven. I believe the Bible is the inspired word of God and I read a chapter from it everyday to get myself focused on Him. I believe in the Ten Commandments and that all of us should follow them. I believe the Mosaic laws are to help us live more Godly lives. I believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God and that He came to earth as a man to be an example for us and to pay our debt of sin in order that all men will beable to have eternal life in Heaven and be innocent before God the Judge. I believe I was born a sinner and continue to be a sinner as long as I am in this flesh on this earth and that because of that I need to be forgiven daily and that Jesus saves me from my self. I do not attend a physical church every week. I do go occasionally, but don't see it as absolutely necessary for me. I listen to radio ministry, television ministry, face-to-face ministry, and other forms as God provides. God uses all means to communicate with us. I believe God has a purpose for me on this earth and that is why I am alive. He is making me into what He wants me to be and leads me where He wants me to go. He knows me much more than I know myself and so I must trust Him, before I trust myself or others.
This is just a summary of what I believe. The details that flow from knowing God and accepting Jesus as a personal Savior, are many and vast and I don't even know them all to write them! All things are of God and that cannot be undone! So, that's it then, that's what I stand for! I hope you stand for God and have similar details, maybe not exactly as I do, I would not expect it, because all of us are different and unique.(as DNA clearly shows, right!) Your details will be different, but God is always the same, yesterday, today and forever! Amen!
